Recidivist DUI Program

The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the California Office of Traffic Safety, has established a Recidivist (Repeat) Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program. The intent of the program is to make our roads and highways safer by targeting repeat DUI offenders who have failed to appear in court for a DUI. The Recidivist DUI (RED) Team is comprised of two Criminal Investigators (Peace Officers) and a Deputy District Attorney who are experienced and dedicated to arresting and prosecuting repeat DUI offenders.
